LINKS BETWEEN THE SOCIAL INTELLIGENCE ATTRIBUTES AND FORMS OF COPING WITH DEMANDING SITUATIONS IN MANAGERIAL PRACTICE
Abstract
Coping with demanding situations in managerial practice is closely related to the overall effectiveness of managerial work. Social intelligence is considered to be a significant predictor of coping with demanding situations in the work of managers. Prediction of behavior of managers in demanding situations is one of the possibilities of selection of the correct persons for managerial positions and of adequate adjustment of the preparation of managers. The report presents the results of an analysis of links between the selected social intelligence attributes and strategies of coping with demanding situations by managers. In this context, the conducted analysis confirmed the existence of several significant correlations.
