THE EFFECTS OF THE PHYSICAL SETTINGS WITHIN OFFICES ON THE MOTIVATION OF THE EMPLOYEES
Abstract
There had been some researches made related with the effects of the physical settings within the offices on the behavior of the employees by now. This paper has been trying to carry this topic one step further by researching the effects of the physical settings within the offices on the motivation of the employees by considering the motivation theories existing in the literature. To be able to increase the awareness; case studies are used in addition to the literature to be able to reveal the real life experiences. This paper is not only beneficial for the scientific literature but also could be a valuable resource for the organizations which have been trying to create different ways and structured methods to increase the motivation of their employees.
