THE ROLE OF AN INTERNATIONAL AGREEMENT IN THE REGULATION OF INTERSTATE RELATIONS IN THE FIELD OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Abstract
The aim of the article is to study the problem of determining the role of an international treaty to regulate interstate relations in the field of environmental protection. The basis of the study of the whole range of the international legal rules governing the issue of environmental protection, and their ability to solve their tasks and their compliance with current requirements and needs of the international community and in this regard the development of new proposals and recommendations for their improvement. The methodological bases of the study are: a systematic approach - the analysis of the conceptual apparatus of the topic; dialectical method, comparative legal method, special methods of formal legal and regulatory modeling - in the study of the development and implementation of international environmental agreements. Study actualizes the need for scientific classification and systematization (codification) of international treaties in the field of environmental protection. The article contains a modern interpretation of the international legal doctrine in relation to international environmental law. Treaty practice regulation of environmental issues identified as a priority area of public international law. Scope and implementation of the results of research and development is due to the rationale and priorities of the specific mechanisms for international cooperation in the field of environmental protection.
