YOUTH WORKER AS A PROMOTER OF HEALTH EDUCATION TO PREVENT YOUTH HEALTH RISKS

Abstract

The biggest determinant of quality of human life, is health. Health will provide the basis for comprehensive development of human. There are a big role to play an individual's life - the living environment, the neighborhood, the society, and also has a strong relationship with yourself [11]. The one of the cornerstones a well-functioning state is the good health and the quality of life of citizens, their`s preservation, which is ensured through the social and economic success. The Public Health Act [12] provides for the protection of human health, disease prevention and health promotion target achievement with obligations and national and local measures of state, local governments, the private legal entities and natural persons as well. There is one of the aims in Renewed Framework of European Cooperation of the Youth Field for 2010-2018 [9] to support young people's health and wellbeing. Through the cooperation of support of schools, youth workers, health professionals and sport organizations can promote healthy lifestyles among young people through physical education, nutrition education, physical activity.
