ANALYSIS OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT AND INDIVIDUAL PERFORMANCE
Abstract
The paper is focused on the issue of employee performance in regards to employee engagement. Several studies indicate that engagement of employees determines individual performance. In order to investigate this hypothesis, research was conducted in Slovak companies. The main objective of the research is to explore the existence of the relationship between the employee engagement in the organization and employee's performance. In order to reach the research objective, the engagement factors and indicators of individual performance were selected on the basis of a literary analysis. Subsequently, the existence of statistical relations between selected factors of employee engagement and the indicators of individual performance were verified by the correlation analysis.
