PATIENT RETENTION IN MEDICAL AREA: IMPACT OF TRUST, SATISFACTION, EXPENDITURE AND SERVICES` QUALITY AND AVAILABILITY OFFERED BY FAMILY PHYSICIAN
Abstract
Patient satisfaction is a widely used term in measuring the quality of the health care system. Despite the numerous studies conducted in the literature, little is known about the impact of satisfaction in retention of family physicians` patients. Based on a survey conducted within family doctors' patients this study aims to provide the development of the valuable relationship between an amount of factors that affect retention in health area: trust, satisfaction, expenditure, services` quality and availability. Implications for both theory and practice are discussed.
