MODERN EXPRESSION ELEMENTS РћN ARCHAIC LINEAGE MUSIC REFLECTED IN IPOSTAZE FOR CLARINET AND PIANO BY VIOREL MUNTEANU
Abstract
This paper wants to present and highlight the very difficult but very valuable work of Romanian composer Viorel Munteanu, conceived as a theme with variations, inspired from a carol from Transylvania (Romania), collected by Bela Bartok. There are presented the results of research and artistic activity carried out in several stages: structural analysis and solving the specific technical problems, for such an interpretive act; the results of the interpretation experience resulted from performing the work in different locations in Romania, Germany, Italy, Republic of Moldova; recording on audio support (CD) of the composition; and finally, reiterating all the experiences gained during this research, focusing on the interpretive side. I believe that the artistic and scientific approach can be effective support in the teaching for the students and teachers involved in teaching activities, opening new interpretative horizon to modern and contemporary music, explaining the connection between the spiritual universe of music in new and particular ways of expression, achievement timbral colour and sound effect.
