QUALITY OF LIFE AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT IN BUCHAREST
Abstract
Quality of life became a priority for researchers from many study areas. Researches realized in the last few years regarding the quality of life focused mainly on urban reality. The article purposes to offer a short review of the literature concerning quality of life and urban development, to study the connection between this terms and also important statistics from Romania. A survey based on five main themes was conducted with the aim to create an image of quality of life in each quarter of Bucharest. Implications of the emerged issues in Bucharest quarters are discussed.
