The paper presents results of archaeological excavations lasting 11 seasons, in years 1981-1986 and 2000-2004 by Archaeology Institute of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toru? (Poland). In Strzelno - a tiny town in Kuyavia region (North Poland) - the Premonstratensian nunnery had been functioning from the end of 12th c. to the 19th c.
