The article deals with the precedent name "Napoleon" which is regarded as an element of historical memory, a national cultural code. The aim of the work is the semantic-cognitive modeling of this precedent name in a comparative aspect. Analyzing different contexts containing the name "Napoleon" / "NapolГ©on" we apply methodologies of semantic cognitive modeling, supplemented with contextual and statistical analysis.
