The article deals with the problematics of origins and specificity of Russian anarchism. The authors prove that two central versions of Russian anarchism created by M.A. Bakunin and L.N. Tolstoy were dependent on J.G. FichteВ’s religious philosophy. The authors refute the idea that Russian philosophy was under strong influence of Hegelianism. The article deals with the problem of political liberalism and aims to show the criticism of the western liberalism by Russian political thinkers. The authors focus on the political philosophy by Boris Chicherin and Ivan Ilyin who were the most outstanding representatives of the Russian liberalism.
