Introduction. The objective of this investigation is to pinpoint the influence of the salivary pH on the hardness of the dental enamel. Method. The study was realized using recently extracted 6 non-carious wisdom teeth, that were immersed in solutions of different pH (between 2.5 and 6.5) for 3 minutes, solutions that would simulate the pH of the oral cavity in patients with a potential condition of gastroesophageal reflux disease.
