The trial of the Nazi war criminals who committed their crimes in the North-West of Russia was held in Leningrad in the winter of 1945 - 1946, simultaneously with the trial in Nuremberg. Its course was covered by all the major city newspapers: Leningradskaya Pravda, Smena, and Vecherny Leningrad.
