The toponymy of Yakutia is very complex, heterogeneous, and consists of many linguistic strata: Turkic, Tungus-Manchu, Mongolian and Russian. The paper is devoted to study the features of toponyms of Tungus-Manchu origin (Evenk) in Central Yakutia. The comprehensive analysis of the place names data base allows to identify the peculiarities of formation, evolution, interaction and using of these toponyms in Yakutia.
