The aim of this work is to analyze the self-portraits of De Chirico with a methodology of psychological investigation. The figurative elements are individually examined in order to understand the psychological determinants of the painter. The purpose of this work is to analyze the psychopathological components that emerge from the self-portraits of Williams Utermonhler, contemporary painter suffering from Alzheimer's disease.
