The article focuses on analysis of the innovation environment of regions in Central Europe, using the example of the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia. Our own research is based on data of NUTS II and the construction of an aggregate indicator, which maps key economic, labour market and innovative indicators relevant for describing the innovative potential of the regions.
