In this paper, the using of e-learning by 3D multi-user virtual environment (MUVE) in mother tongue teaching is analysed. The focus is on didactic aspects of using a MUVE which enables the participants to meet people from different places in the same virtual space. As in a virtual space there are no geographical boarders or time limitations, we consider this environment naturally suitable also for language learning including mother tongue education.
